I decided to stick a few copies of the book in the little libraries around the area, thought it would be a fun way to get people to read it. And I stuck a little note inside all of them. I wanted to stick it here for posterity.
Hello, neighbor!
This is my first book. I just finished the self publishing process a few weeks ago so you’re one of the first people to read it. If I had some way to do so I would award you an achievement right now.
So, I was thinking about it, and I live in the neighborhood, and why not put a few copies in the little libraries? Maybe someone will pick it up who otherwise wouldn’t have and read it. And it would be nice to think that someone in the area has read it. Maybe even enjoyed it.
And honestly, while I do want to sell a million copies and be a beloved author, mostly I just want people to read the story. I hope you read the book and have fun with it.

If you don’t, well…sorry. It is my first book. Just stick it back in here, secure in the knowledge that at least you didn’t spend any money on it. And also the picture in the back is of some totally different guy and not me at all.
